This qaysari was built by Mustafa al-Naqib (1900 B.C) in the form of Istanbul markets at that time. Forming the upper part of the market in the form of large basements he built a marvelous piece of engineering. In the beginning the doors of the shops were made of wood. It then was developed to become a more modern market, but keeping its ancient architectural style. There are boutiques, clothing stores, perfume stores and cosmetic stores.
