Roste Citadel is located in Rosti village, 137 km north or Erbil city and east of Halgurd. Built at the top of the mountain, the citadel is one of the most important archaeological sites in the area. The total area of the citadel is 45,5 x 29,2 m and contains more than ten rooms, some of which contain two floors.
