The village of Fishkhabor lies on the banks of Tigris River and it is separated from the Syrian and Turkish territories by the Hezil river, 20 kilometers from Zakho and 70 kilometers from Duhok governorate. Christians are the majority of the population and there is anancient church in the middle of the village visited by many tourists.
