Taweila is a small, beautiful town on the Iraqi – Iranian border. It is about 108 kilometers far from Sulaimani City. This gorgeous town is known for its walnuts and pomegranates and the Hawrami design of the houses. Taweila houses the shrine of Sheikh Othman the Second, who was the Pole of Naqshabandi Tariqa. The shrine is often visited by the descendents of his followers.
