Found at a distance of 105 kilometers from Erbil, Bekhal waterfalls can be reached via two ways: one starting from above the waterfalls of Gali Ali Beg and the other passing through Soran district to the east crossing Rawanduz and finally descending towards Bekhal.
Bekhal Summer Resort has a natural waterfall flowing down the center of the mountain. Near the base of the mountain visitors can find a bazaar and food stalls. You can also climb up the fairly precarious and slippery steps to the top of the waterfall to experience the stunning view and drink sweet and refreshing mineral water.
